Adopt-a-Garden:  Volunteers adopt garden area on church grounds.  They plant and maintain their garden throughout the year.  A garden can be any size and adopted by an individual, family or group.

Building and Grounds:  Supports the physical facilities by assisting in the maintenance and repairs of the buildings, assists Adopt-a-Gardeners with landscaping.  Volunteers are always welcomed.  Meets 1st Wednesday at 6:30 PM in Trinity Hall.

Festival:  Great food, great games, great rides, great fun.  One of the festival's primary objectives is to bring the parish family together to have fun while working together towards a fundraising goal.  Volunteers welcomed.  Watch bulletin, church announcement boards and website for details.  It is usually held the first weekend in August.  Meet as scheduled by the festival chairs.

Finance Committee:  Advises the pastor regarding the financial matters of the parish, oversees the parish's yearly budget, informs the parishioners regularly of the financial state of the parish.

Hospitality/Welcome:  Organizes an occasional "Donut Sunday" giving parishioners an opportunity for fellowship after Mass.  Welcomes new members of the parish family by making contact with them and offering helpful information about the parish.

Knights of Columbus:  Norwood Council #1162 is a lay family service organization of Catholic men and part of the largest Catholic Fraternal organization in the world.  We provide a wide range of Church, community and charitable activities and programs.  Men 18 and older are eligible for membership.  Meets 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7:00 PM in Trinity Hall.

More Than a Meal:  Many times a parishioner is in need of a meal, prayer and fellowship during illness or crisis.  Can you prepare a casserole, meatloaf or something easily frozen?  Notices will be put in the bulletin for need and then they can be dropped off to the Parish Office.

Music Ministry:  Our music ministry is a vibrant group of parishioners that lead the congregation in worship through music and song.  The choirs include, Contemporary Ensemble, Traditional Choir, Children's Choir, Children's Bell Choir.  Please see the Music Ministry page for more details.

Parish Pastoral Council:  Consultative group to the pastor and pastoral staff regarding the welfare and vision of the parish.  This is accomplished through regular meetings, liaisons with other parish organizations and dialogue with parishioners.  Meets Bi-monthly.

RCIA:  Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the Catholic Church's process of welcoming new members.  It is a faith journey that prepares adults and children over the age of seven to receive the three sacrament of initiation; Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.  We begin in September and continue through April.

Soup for Shut-ins:  Making homemade soup?  How about putting some in a small container for our parishioners who are homebound.  Drop off at the Parish Office.

Tender Mercies Meals:  Provide and serve the dinner meal for the residents of Tender Mercies the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  Watch bulletin and website for announcement of January planning meeting.  All are welcome to join any time of the year.

Vocation Awareness: 

Every household is invited to "host" Fr. Ed Haskamp's chalice for a week and pray for vocations to ministry within the church.  The sign up sheet can be found on the table near the parking lot side door.

Wedding Ministry:  Assist engaged couples in planning their wedding ceremony and assist at the ceremony as needed.  Provide a Mass and reception in June for those couples celebrating a notable anniversary.

Music MinistryOur music ministry is a vibrant group of parishioners that lead the congregation in worship through music and song.
     Contemporary Ensemble: Provides music at the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass. Open to children (3rd – 8th grade), teens and adults. Practice:  Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. in   church, to rehearse for the Sunday 11:00 a.m. Mass.
Traditional: Provides music at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. Open to teens and adults. Practice Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.
Children’s Choir: 3rd – 8th grade, teach the fundamentals of choir singing, providing music in selected Saturday 4:30 masses and other special occasions.  Practice in the church at 3:30 p.m. on the Saturdays for which we sing Mass
Children’s Bell Choir:3rd – 8th grade dedicated to learning ringing techniques and music reading. They play for special parish and school celebrations. Practice held on designated Tuesdays, from 3:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.
